We believe families deserve to know when their loved ones need them most.
Arrest Alert was created to bridge the communication gap between families and the detention system. When someone is detained, time is critical for arranging legal representation, posting bail, and providing support. Yet families often discover detentions days or weeks later through word of mouth or manual checking of jail rosters.
We automate this process, giving families the peace of mind that comes from knowing they'll be notified immediately when their loved ones are detained, so they can take action when it matters most.
Our founder experienced firsthand the frustration and helplessness of discovering a family member's detention days after it happened. By the time the family found out, critical time had been lost - time that could have been spent arranging legal help and support.
This experience inspired the creation of Arrest Alert. We built the system we wished had existed - one that monitors correctional facilities 24/7 and notifies families immediately when their loved ones are detained.
Arrest Alert continuously monitors New York State correctional facilities and detention centers. Our automated system checks for new detentions every 4 hours, comparing against the list of people you're monitoring.
When we detect a match, we immediately notify you via SMS and email. You can also set up emergency contacts who will be notified automatically, ensuring that your loved ones have a support network ready to help.
We're currently focused on New York State, with plans to expand to additional states and detention systems based on user demand and data availability.
